Havin acquired a certificate of safety issued by Finnish Transport Safety Agency allows the company to operate museum trains throughout the Finnish rail network.

Höyryraide Oy/ Steamrail Ltd

Höyryraide Oy/ Steamrail Ltd.  was founded in 1994 by Tapani Laaksomies.to operate museum train traffic. The service is managed in cooperation with the Finnish Rail Authority(Finnish State Railways) adhering  to all directives and regulations issued for train safety.

In North Karelia

The railway from Joensuu to Nurmes was completed in 1908. The  railway yard and original engine shed for steam engine in Nurmes now serve as good bases for museum train travel, which in turn helps to preserves locale railway and cultural tradition. Steam train excursions can be made both South and North, in the direction of Joensuu or Kontiomäki.
